In November, 2012,Mr. Alan Young was invited to attend the event of the 6th Patent Week in Shanghai, China. officers and guests from Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Shanghai Municipal Economic and Information Commission, Shanghai Municipal Business Commission, Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Shanghai Municipal Finance Bureau, Shanghai Municipal Intellectual Property Bureau, etc. were also present at the opening ceremony.

“The 6th Patent Week, Shanghai, China” is themed by “patent protects innovation and wisdom changes life”, aiming at the guide of innovation and transformation, focusing on strategic emerging industries, which can provide a powerful support for the construction of Shanghai’s four centers.

Mr. Alan Young was invited to present the association as the Secretary General of Xuhui Intellectual Property Protection Association and had made presentation at the association in the afternoon of November 21th 2012.
Zhu Qigao, deputy director of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration and Zhu Chenggang, deputy warden of Xuhui District People’s Government were invited to present and had made presentation at the association. They also held the unveiling ceremony.
Likan, secretary of Xuhui Intellectual Property Office, is the chairman of the Association. Vice chairman ,except Leo Band & Co., Shanghai Jiao Tong University, East China University of politics and law, Caohejing Hi-Tech Park, Shanghai Juke Biotech Park, Shanghai united assets and equity exchange , Shanghai patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Alan Young has been selected as a member of the 13th Xuhui District, Shanghai CPPCC. His term begins in January 2012 and will last five years.

CPPCC is an important body of a system of multiparty cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China .CPPCC is held for political consultation on national policies and major issues in people’s daily life, making important national level political decisions.

November, 2011, DTZ (one of the most famous international real estate consultant company) PWC (the world’s largest accounting firm) and RFG (Richmond Fiduciary Group) on a friendly visit to Leo Band & Co., the two sides held a satisfying discussion and communication on the further cooperation in foreign business investment and immigrants.

Oct 2011,cooperation relationship was established between Leo Band & Co. and Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. (Freddie Mac),Mr. Frank Wang will provide with real estate consultancy service  for clients from greater China.
