Dr. Rajeshkumar Acharya, the director of H K Acharya & Company, a well-known Indian IP service agency, and Ms. Corazon Montejo, the foreign relationship manager and the technician of H K Acharya & Company paid a visit to Leo Band & Co and were received by Mr. Jeff Young. Dr. Rajeshkumar Acharya and Dr. Yang respectively introduced their IP service business and highlight of each institution. They agreed to reinforce cooperation with each other in the future, including a plan of jointly holding IP international conferences in either India or China.

Leo Band & Co jointly with JMB Davis Ben-David, Israel, held an international seminar on“Using IP to Grow Successful Companies from Startups” at Caohejing Hi-tech Park on November 17,2015. Dr. Yang Jianfeng acted as the host of the seminar, Dr. Jiong Zhang, the general manager of Shanghai Juke Biotech Park, Mr. Jeremy Ben-David, the owner of JMB Davis Ben-David , Dr. Mike Hammer and Dr. Lilly Glazer, lawyers from JMB Davis Ben-David and Mr. Arie Schreier from PTL Shanghai, as key speakers, gave their speeches from different perspectives on innovation and IP protection, and communicated with audience actively through Q&A.

Lixian Huang, the Shanghai delegate of Hong kong Trade Development Council (hereinafter referred as “HKTDC”) and Jiayi Xu, the deputy director of   marketing department of HKTDC visited our office.  The Secretary General of SXIPPA, Mr. Alan Young, welcomed their visit along with Jeff Yang, distinguished expert of SXIPPA.

China former ambassador in the United Nations Shen Guofang, Bulgarian Consul in Shanghai Ms. Bai Ailin, EU representative in the P.R.C., intellectual property specialist Luo Benoit, Shanghai Government counselor Bao Qifan , President of New York University in ShanghaiYu Lizhong,diplomats from the United States, Britain and the European Union’s China intellectual property , and represents from Disney, PHILPS, SIEMENS, INVISTA and other well-known multinational companies were invited to the session.
